LiL CONFERENCE SITES (All sites open at 7:45 am; first session begins at 8:30 am)   
Elementary: Aiken High School
Middle: Leavelle McCampbell Middle School
High: South Aiken High School

Schedules by Level: Standard sessions are 50 minutes, some sessions are a double-block of time. Below are sample schedules for each level.
Elementary: (4) 50-minute Sessions and (1) PLC (1:10 pm)
Middle: (2) 50-minute Sessions, (1) PLC (10:30 am), and Guest Speaker, Dr. Tammy Pawloski (1:10 pm)
High: (2) 50-minute Sessions, Guest Speaker, Dr. Tammy Pawloski (8:30 am OR 10:30am), and (1) PLC (1:10 pm)

Special Group Locations (*Educators in these areas do not need to register in Sched.)

Positive stress is critical to motivation and action, but toxic stress can derail brain development and school and life success - and this matters for both students and teachers! The good news is that when the symptoms of toxic stress are recognized and responses that support social and emotional health are practiced, new brain wiring is possible.
Explore the impact of stress on the body and brain, any why stress matters for both adults and children. Take away practices that stimulate blood and chemical changes that can mitigate the harmful impact of toxic stress.
